LAX Period 7
Posted May 17, 2010 by Anne Potter
All: IMPORTANT REMINDER: As the Spring Seasons come to a close, please be very diligent in holding your athletes accountable for showing-up to 7th period. Please continue to take roll and make sure that you are meeting with your student-athletes during every 7th period class. There is a great deal of liability involved when students are released from school early, left to roam across the street or around campus. Giving students the day-off for 7th period is not acceptable. Lastly, if you have seniors who are currently enrolled in 6 classes, they have the right to drop your 7th period athletics class and are free to leave. All students must take 5 classes, so that is the reason why a senior with 6 classes, may drop athletics at the conclusion of his/her season. This privilege only applies to seniors. Kevin G.
