Boys Varsity was victorious 11-6 over a very physical Oaks Christian team on Friday Night 3/5. The boys had huge performances by Senior Captain Anthony Tschopp (3g, 1a, 6gb), Senior Defenseman Tristan Pace (9gb), and Junior Goalie Mathew Meissner (18 saves). Freshman Jordan Bernardin earned Player of the Game honors for his 3 goal 1 assist performance in his first ever high school game. The Boys Varsity hosts Woodbridge HS this Tuesday at 6pm in the Stadium. GO DIABLOS!

No game this Friday (due to girls high school soccer championship being held in the stadium at MVHS). We have the Rose Bowl Tournament this Saturday. All players load the bus at Mission at 7:45 am, first game is at 10:00, then 1:00, then either 3:00 or 4:00 depending on win/loss. Load at 4:00 or 5:00 pm (depending on win/loss) and arrive back at Mission at 5:30/6:30 pm (depending on win/loss). WE PLAY RAIN OR SHINE. We play at Santa Margarita Catholic HS, at home, V at 5:30 and JV at 7:00 pm. All players should arrive at 4:30 for warmup. Coach Schmidt

Players - there are Entertainment Books ($35) and Community Discount cards ($10 Laguna Hills or Mission Viejo area) available for pickup in Coach Renate's room. Sign out up to 5 of each. For each book a player sells he/she will receive a credit of $5 toward their participation fees. Each player is expected to participate in the fundraising efforts. There is a limited amount of books currently. Once the books/cards run out, please let me know and I will order more books/cards. Take the order forms and sell based on a turnaround of 7-10 days for the new stock to arrive. All money and unsold books and cards need to be turned in to Coach prior to the Thanksgiving Holiday 11/25/09.
